PixAI Studio is PixAI’s brand-new creation tool. By bringing together generation, editing, and asset management nodes, it allows you to build your own creative workflow and complete complex creation processes in one place.
At its core is a flexible visual canvas. Each node on the canvas represents an asset, such as an image, video, text, or audio. You can arrange and connect every step of your creative process through these nodes, while the connections between them define how content flows from one step to the next.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through PixAI Studio’s core features, show you how everything works, and share practical examples you can start using right away.

PixAI Studio is deeply integrated with the PixAI ecosystem, so everything you’ve already built is ready to use.
Browse PixAI’s extensive library of anime models and LoRAs, including public community models, your favorite saved models, and the LoRA you’ve trained yourself.
Simply click “Import from PixAI” at the bottom-right of the canvas to revisit your previous creations, continue developing an existing character, or refine one of your favorite artworks. There’s no need to re-upload files, reorganize assets, or switch between accounts. Your creative history stays right where you need it.
A Library of Ready-to-Use Templates
Getting started doesn’t mean starting from scratch.
PixAI Studio includes a growing collection of official templates built specifically for anime creators.
Simply choose a template from the “Templates” at the bottom of the canvas, click any image in the template, and select “Replace” to swap in your own assets. Once you’re done, you’re ready to create by clicking ↑.
You can also clone workspaces shared by other creators, using proven community setups as your starting point instead of building everything from an empty canvas. Simply select an artwork you like, click “View Process” to see how it was made, then click “Clone Workspace” in the top-right corner to bring that entire setup into your own canvas.
Whether you begin with an official template or a community workspace, the complicated node connections and parameter tuning are already handled for you—so you can focus on bringing your own ideas to life.

Everything stays connected through nodes, so you can move from one step to the next without exporting, importing, or switching between different applications.

Character Consistency Throughout Your Entire Creative Workflow
PixAI Studio maintains character consistency across every generation and editing step on the canvas. Whether you’re changing scenes, switching outfits, or extending a static illustration into an animated video, your character’s appearance and proportions stay consistent, allowing viewers to instantly recognize the same character. Reuse and edit your character throughout the entire workflow freely without worrying about the character losing its original identity after any step of the process.
A Step-by-Step Animated Short Workflow in PixAI Studio
Now let’s walk through a simple example to see how PixAI Studio works in practice.
In this tutorial, we’ll create an image of “a girl surrounded by kittens in a cat café”, then turn it into a 5-second animated video—all within the same canvas.
Step 1: Create a New Workspace
From the homepage, click Create New Workspace to open a blank canvas.
You can rename your workspace at any time by clicking its title at the top of the page.
Step 2: Add an Image Node
Click + Add node in the toolbar at the bottom of the canvas, then select Image.
A new Image node will appear on your canvas, ready for generation.
Besides images, you can also add Text, Video, and Audio nodes, allowing you to build workflows that combine multiple types of content.
Step 3: Write Your Prompt and Generate an Image
Select the Image node, and the prompt field will appear at the bottom of the canvas. Describe the scene you’d like to create in one or two sentences here.
You can choose a different model in the lower-left corner or adjust settings such as aspect ratio and image quality from the parameter menu on the right. If this is your first time using PixAI Studio, the default settings are a great place to start.
The number displayed in the lower-right corner shows how many Credits this generation will cost.
Click ↑ to start generating, and after a few seconds, your image will appear inside the node.
Not happy with the result? Simply update your prompt and generate again. Every version is automatically saved in your generation history, making it easy to compare different attempts.
If a generation fails, don’t worry — any Credits spent will be refunded automatically, so you can adjust your prompt or settings and try again.
Step 4: Turn Your Image into a Video
Move your cursor over the Image node, and you’ll see a + button appear on each side.
Drag the + on the right into an empty area of the canvas, then choose Video.
A connected Video node will be created automatically.
The connection simply means that the output from the previous node becomes the input for the next one. You’ll notice that the image you just generated is already attached as the reference image, so there’s no need to upload it again.
Now describe how you’d like the image to move. Then click ↑ to start creating your video.
Video generation usually takes longer than image generation. While it’s processing, you’ll see a progress indicator on the node, but you’re free to continue working elsewhere on the canvas — or cancel the task at any time.
Once it’s finished, your first animated short is ready.
Use the play button to preview it, or use the toolbar above the node to trim, download, or view it in full screen.
